I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Andy and I fished for about 3 hours tonight. We each caught 5, including one 20". Mine came on Gulp sinking minnows in pumpkinseed, wacky rigged ... his on GSM in Watermellon, Texas rigged. All came under docks.

Lake Waubesa - July 11, 2009

Caught 28 today, including the two pictured below. All came on Gulp sinking minnows in pumpkinseed or watermellon fished undewr docks in 3 fow or less. Hot and sunny today with a 10 to 15 mpw wind from the west.

Lake Waubesa - July 6, 2009

Fished with Andy today from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Got 24 largemouth, most on Gulp sinking minnows on Texas Rigged or Wacky Rigged. A few on a jib with Gulp turtle back worms. Temps were hot, sun bright, and wind moderate out of the SW.
