I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. I hope you can use the information I post on this blog to learn something as well. Thanks for following along!

Fished with Collin and Joe again. Got there at 6:15. Caught 2 small Steelies in "the corner" at about 7:00 am and a Brown in the same spot about 8:30. Lost a nice fish on spawn. Caught the other 3 on spawn as well. Water was cloudy, wind was calm, temps in mid 50's, calm.

October 20, 2009 - RAC

Fished the marina and river with Joe and Collin. I went 6 for 8 with a Steelhead, Chinook, Coho, and 3 Browns. Browns were 31" and 13#'s, 29" and 11#'s, and 28" and 10#'s. The smallest was a hen, the others were bucks. Weather was 57 and calm ... overcast. Got the three browns in the river and the rest at the corner. Lost a big steelie and a monster Chinook at the corner. Browns hit green and gold dimpeled Cleos and a the rest hit spawn / skien.

RAC Harbor - October 13, 2009

Fished with Collin today. Andy got his on a J-13 in silver and mine was on skien. The King inhaled the J-13 to the point that there was only an inch or so of it still showing. Slien bite was slow. We missed 5-6 fish. Weather was cold and windy ... high of 42, N wind at 15 mph.
