Fished with my buddy Sean today. He got his first coho ... I got a chunky buck steelhead. Both on spawn. Lost a big male king that broke me off and a nice hen steelhead right at the net. Cold, windy, cloudy.
I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. I hope you can use the information I post on this blog to learn something as well. Thanks for following along!

Got two browns and lost a dark king this morning. The smaller brown came on brown spawn, the big one came on salmon skein. Fish was 31" with a 23" girth! She's headed to the taxidermist! Caught her in the corner of the marina near the condos. The browns were stacked in the current produced by the pump.
