I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Nasty Weather Browns...

Got out with my friend Scott. Fished in some of the nastiest winter weather I've fished in. We were the only two stupid enough to be out there. Caught 3 hen browns early ... and stocked up on loose spawn!

Memorable New Year's Eve

Some people like to party on New Year's Eve ... and some are too old for that and resort to well, fishing. I spent the day with my buddy Troy Schmeling and had a blast catching 5 steelhead and a brown. Truly a memorable day!
