I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. No Cats but No Cares

Fished cats yesterday and got everything but the whiskered critters! We got bass, gills, white bass, yellow bass, crappies and sheepshead. Not a cat to be found ... but I'm stocked up on cut bait!

More Kitty Action

I'm REALLY beginning to enjoy catfishing! It's simple and relaxing ... until you get one on. Then it's nothing short of chaos in a small boat with lots of lines out!

The water temp in my favorite spot went down 13 degrees from last week ... and the bite, for the most part, went with it. We fished 8 hours and got 2 cats and a big gill. The fish we got made it all worthwhile!

From Saturday ...

Caught what's left of the brown trout bite in Milwaukee. Ended up with 19 ... caught 10 jigging Gulp and 9 trolling Flicker Shad. All cookie cutters!
