I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. How Big Will They Get?

Took a fishing buddy out last night for Cats ... and he taught me how to catch big ones! It's absolutely crazy how big the channel cats are getting on the Madison chain. He ended up with his 3 largest being 33", 34" and a MONSTER 36.5".

Ice Out Kitty!

Caught this girl yesterday afternoon in less than 2' of water. Water temp was 46.5 degrees. Brrrrr... 33" and 18 lbs. I just love the way they fight in that shallow water!
