I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Giant King Salmon Caught Off Port Washington!

There have been a lot of reports of big Kings already this fall. This 34 lb beast was caught by Capt. Nolan Koepp this past weekend. Check out his website at Top Gun Charter Service. Some awesome pics and decent rates!

    Big salmon for sure. The rumors are this could be a big fish year? This is getting close to be the time we should meet up. Me and damien were just talking about it.

    This will be my first year shore fishing the kings and 3rd fly fishing them. I would love to see how you go about it...

    Absolutely. I won't be over until Sept. 10th, then fishing with Eric Haataja on the 15th, and back on the 17th.

    I'm also on vacation from October 17 to 22 and plan on living over there that week.
