I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. I hope you can use the information I post on this blog to learn something as well. Thanks for following along!

Lake Waubesa - Saturday, June 20, 2009

Andy and I fished Waubesa most of the day today. Got 18 largemouth, most on Gulp Sinking Minnows Puirple fleck and pumpkinseed. Caught most on the flat near McDaniel ... the rest under docks near McConnell. The biggest was 21.5" and came from under a dock. Weather was hot and calm ... mid 80's. I went out alone for a few hours on Sunday evening. Caught 8 on worms ... mostly a 10" Gulp Turtleback worm in Pumpkinseed (natural).
