I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Fished the river with Matt. Got one hen brown about 5 lbs that was full of spawn!!!!! A few other light hits but it was really slow. All hits on spawn. Jigged a minnow and had a minnow on one tip-up with no action. Fished near Azarian to the bridge upstream. 20 to 25 degree and cloudy with a SW wind at 10. A lot of slush under the ice in the deeper holes.
