I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Transition Time

The bass appear to be entering post spawn mode ... males are overly aggressive and female are lock jawed. Picked up a few in the heavier winds last night. Had a little excitement from this small muskie. It hit a Chatterbait just before I lifted it out of the water. Young fish, but beautifully marked and very healthy!

    Strike King Shadalicious. I was trying to match the shiners that are EVERYWHERE on that shoreline right now.
