I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Lake Waubesa - May 7, 2009

Fished Waubesa from 5:00 pm to 9:30 p.m. Started out in 15 MPH SW winds and light drizzle. Caught a walleye in the first 10 minutes. Clouds moved out and became sunny and calm. Next walleye was caught at 8:10 p.m. Got 5 walleyes on the next 7 cast. All on Gulp! minnows - 3" chartuese. Also caught a 19" largemouth, 2 smaller largemouth, a foul hooked carp, and had a muskie bite me off.
