I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Three Run Homer!

I was a steelhead away from the Great Lakes Grand Slam today. The bite was hot until about 10:00 a.m. ... when the weather got hot and the bite slowed considerably. Special thanks to Joe and Collin for letting the old guy take most of the fish today! We ended up with 6 ... 2 Kings, 3 Coho, and a Brown.
