I don't claim to be an expert fisherman ... just a guy who loves to fish and has been blessed for his efforts. I learned a long time ago that in fishing, and in much of life, you get out of it what you put into it. I work hard when fishing, I study a lot, and always try to learn something on every outing. Smallie Bite Contuinues

The smallie bite has been incredibly consistent for me. I just have to put up with rough water and wait out the ever moving smallies. I found out Saturday that my boat can take on decent wind but it's really hard to chase fish in those conditions. So ... sit tight and wait for them to move around. Picked up a bonus 10" gill. She's in the freezer waiting to see if I get one bigger yet this year. If I do ... she becomes cat bait. If I don't she goes on the wall with the 11" from May.

    that gill is too sweet for cat bait, i say the more the merrier on the wall, great job out there todd ;)
